Healthwatch Haringey welcomes Sophie Woodhead as our new Chair of the Advisory Board
We met with Sophie to find out more about her.
Where do you currently work?
I am an Assistant Director for a leading national children’s charity, working across health, education and social care. In my previous role at the United Nations, I focused on international child health and development.
What is your link to our Haringey community?
I moved to Haringey in 2015 and am active in the local community.
What will you bring to the role of Chair?
In my role as Chair, I will use evidence, innovation and collaboration at a local, national and international level. I will provide leadership, manage Board Meetings and events and promote the work of Healthwatch Haringey.
What excites you about this role?
I’m thrilled to be taking on this role of Chair. As a dedicate advocate for community engagement in public services, I believe strongly in the importance of voice and experience.
