About this event
Mental health problems affect one in four of us, yet too many people are made to feel isolated, ashamed and worthless because of this.
Time to Talk Day encourages everyone to be more open about mental health – to talk, to listen, to change lives.
Talking about mental health doesn't have to be awkward, whether that's texting a friend or chatting to a colleague Time to Talk Day wants to get everyone to have a conversation about mental health.
There are numerous ways that you can get involved this year:
- Just have a conversation about mental health, with a friend, family member or anyone!
- Tell your story online, it's amazing that your own experience could help hundreds maybe even thousands of others
- Challenge mental health stigma in media and the bad coverage it sometimes gets
