About this event

North London Clinical Commissioning Group and Bridge Renewal Trust are inviting you to training sessions aimed at supporting people to have positive conversations about the Covid-19 vaccine in their social networks e.g. relatives, friends, neighbours, with the purpose of increasing vaccine uptake.

Participants will then be able to initiate conversations with greater confidence in this critical period in the vaccination campaign.

The session will include:

  • Introduction and Context - Owen Sloman, Assistant Director of Primary Care Haringey
  • Vaccine myths and rebuttals - Efa Mortty, Deputy Head of Medicines Management, Haringey
  • Motivational Interviewing - Sarina Afzalishamsabad, Clinical Psychologist, Whittington Health
  • Role-play exercises - led by Dr Fola Akintunde-Etun, Haringey GP, and Nicole Greenaway, lead nurse Haringey GP Federation

Each session will run for an hour and a half. There are 4 sessions available.
