Volunteering can provide the opportunity to make a real difference to the local community, whilst developing skills and gaining new experiences.
We are keen to appoint board members and volunteers who will reflect the characteristics of our community in terms of ethnicity, age, gender, disability status and sexual orientation. An interest in health and social care would also be helpful.
We wil be looking for more board members soon. Keep an eye on this website for opportunties to become a member of our board.
Volunteers who go out to the community promoting Healthwatch Haringey and talking to local people about their concerns and experiences of local health and social care services.
Volunteers to act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of Healthwatch Haringey and keep it informed about people’s views and experiences of local health and social care services.
Volunteers who test and give feedback on local health and social care services.
‘Enter and View’ volunteers
Volunteers who go out to visit care homes, day centres, hospitals and health centres, to find out about the experiences of people using these services. THIS ROLE IS CURRENTLY FULL.
